Glen is the Director of Procurement and Partnerships, and a member of Local Buy’s Senior Leadership Team. Glen’s experience expands 20 years in corporate roles and over 10 years across local government procurement, procurement technology and Local Buy. Recognised as a pragmatic leader, Glen brings an industry-leading mix of procurement and procurement technology experience to our government clients and strategic partnerships.
Between 2020 to 2023, Glen was responsible for the rollout of Local Buy’s 'Nex Gen' Procurement Technology and Data Program. This initiative is now operational and has won three prestigious CIPS Awards in 2023 being (a) Best Public Project of the Year (b) Best Public Procurement Transformation Programme and (c) Overall Winner 2023.
Glen leads our Procurement Team, responsible for the category management support of our industry-leading Local Buy Arrangements. Local Buy Arrangements won the CIPS Award in 2024 for ‘Best Procurement Transformation & Change Program’.
Glen leads our Partnerships, including the Queensland Government and Local Buy Strategic Partnership to roll out the Queensland Procurement Solution. Delivered under a Local Buy Managed Service, the solution provides a common procurement technology across both tiers of Queensland government procurement. As a strategic partnership, both peak bodies of government procurement are working closer together, as a nation-first initiative.
