New verification statements make it easy to identify pre-qualified Local Buy suppliers

In addition to the Local Buy pre-qualified supplier logo we are giving suppliers more support with how they showcase their pre-qualification by providing them with yearly verification statements. We recently issued thousands of statements to pre-qualified suppliers on Local Buy Arrangements making it easier for councils to identify that a supplier has met the required commercial, technical and compliance requirements to undertake work with local government.

The verification certificate represents that a supplier has undergone a combination of annual and risk-based timing checks across what we already do on insurances, financials, Workplace Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance. This ensures council can trust that when a supplier is able to showcase their verification that they have met all procurement requirements needed to engage them through our Arrangements.
