September - November 2023 Highlights

Throughout our August Arrangements round, the following activity occurred:

• 268 quotes were requested through VendorPanel for September      
• Local Buy has now onboarded a total of 3,872 pre-qualified suppliers up until September 2023
• Planning, Surveying, Design & Architecture LB335 will go live on the 1st November

In Development 

We have numerous Contracts in the pipeline for release over the coming months, including:

New Contracts

• Recruitment: Managed Service Provider - LB336 – Due to the market in December
• Recruitment: Temporary & Labour Hire - LB334 – Due to the market in February

Replacement Arrangements In Development

Please note the contracts below will expire, and you must reapply when the new contract goes to market.

• Roads, Bridges & General Civil Construction & Maintenance LB313
• Water, Sewerage & Marine Infrastructure Construction & Maintenance LB314
• EXPIRING:  Water and Sewerage Products LB283
  • Due to the market February 2024

• Culverts, Pipes, Pumps, Valves & Meters

Extensions

Please note the below contracts have been extended

• Project Management Services (Civil Infra.) LB279 (extended until 30th July 2025)
• Heavy Plant Machinery Equipment NPN 2.15-2 (extended until 30th September 2025)
• Tractors, Mowers & General Powered Equipment LB282 (extended until 30th September 2025)
• Stationery & Janitorial Supplies; Office Furniture; Office Machines, Equipment & Accessories LB285 (extended until 6th June 2025)

Extensions are applied to current contracts when their initial contract term is close to expiring; all existing suppliers do not need to re-apply when there is an extension. New suppliers are able to continue to apply to the arrangements.

EXISTING SUPPLIERS: If you are an existing supplier you are NOT required to re-apply each time tenders open unless you would like to be appointed to a new Arrangement, or a new category within an Arrangement to which you are currently appointed.
