Arrangements Update - October 2024

October has brought not only a wave of warm weather, but also a wave of new pre-qualified suppliers to Local Buy Arrangements. The Local Buy administration team have been working untiringly to close out the evaluations from the August submissions and begin appointing and activating the successful suppliers from this round.
To recap, the month of August saw 48 Arrangements open for tender, with a total of 648 tender submissions received. September was the month where the team of internal and external evaluators evaluated each of these tenders.
From this pool of applications, approximately 270 suppliers have already been appointed with numbers continuing to grow steadily.

November Arrangements Round | Open 1-22 November 2024
While the focus has primarily been on the appointment of new suppliers to our arrangements, three contracts in our Planning, Waste and Opens Spaces Portfolio, have also been extended to the end of October 2027
- LB303 Sports and Recreational Facilities and Equipment,
- LB304 Public Area Facilities, Parks and Amenities,
- LB305 Landscape, Gardening and Arboricultural Services.

Our team of qualified evaluators and external professionals ensure that all dealings during this evaluation period are done so openly and fairly. This builds trust amongst our suppliers and purchasers whilst ensuring that Local Buy upholds the Regulations by which we abide.
