Local Buy - New Customer Relationship Managers in your Region

Local Buy is excited to announce the appointment of three new Customer Relationship Managers, who will partner with our Queensland Councils and Suppliers.

Liz Macfarlan (Southern Queensland), Lateesha Reid (Central Queensland), and Audrey Dobell (North Queensland) will be your Relationship Managers for Local Buy Contracts (Panels), Probity and Procurement services that can be utilised by Councils and Suppliers to deliver and support their regions.

 “Each of our new team members brings extensive experience in customer service, business development, and a genuine desire to facilitate the procurement of value-for-money goods and services in a way that is fit for purpose for both Councils and Suppliers.” Local Buy CEO, Peter Mifsud said.

Local Buy’s new appointees will work alongside Catherine Mahoney, who is responsible for engagement with Qld State Government, GOCs, NFP and Tasmanian and Northern Territory councils.

Liz Macfarlan (Responsible for Southern Queensland)

Liz is a highly motivated and results-driven business development professional with over 30 years’ experiences in the sales and marketing arena. Liz joins us from the Workwear Group (a division of Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety Workwear Group) where she is renowned for working closely with her local government clients to achieve success. By leveraging strong relationships built on mutual trust, integrity and respect, Liz understands the ever-evolving requirements of local government and is committed to working collaboratively to achieve the required outcomes.

Lateesha Reid (Responsible for Central Queensland)

Born and raised in Rockhampton and having spent considerable time working in regional communities, Lateesha is excited to return to the Central Qld region to work closely with local government and local suppliers. Lateesha is an energetic and efficient Business Manager, with extensive experience in business development, customer service and the retail sector. With her most recent role as the National Business Development Manager for Flick Anticimex.

Audrey Dobell (Responsible for North Queensland)

Based in Cairns, Audrey joins Local Buy from Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety Workwear Group. A familiar face in North Queensland (where she has lived and worked for the last 20 years), Audrey currently works with Government, hospitality, small business and banking clients from Mackay to the Cape of Tribulation in her role as an Account Manager.
