North Queensland Procurement Forum

Local Buy is delighted to announce that we will be holding the first North Queensland Procurement Forum on Thursday 31st May 2018 in Cairns.

This will be a one day forum aimed at Local Government Procurement professionals with many great speakers and it will be the first time we have held this type of event in North Queensland. 

Energy and Telecommunications are two of the largest expenses for North Queensland Councils and we have speakers from both Energy Queensland and Telstra; in addition to representatives from the Queensland Audit Office and the Department of Local Government, Racing and Multi-Cultural Affairs.

Local Buy will be giving an update on our pre-qualified supplier arrangements and we will finish off the day with a fantastic motivational speaker. To allow for networking, there will be a late afternoon function with refreshments and canapes.
