All suppliers have gone through a tender process and met the requirements of the Local Government Act 2009 (Qld) and Local Government Regulation 2012 (Qld).
Whilst the various provisions of the Queensland Local Government Act and Regulation don’t apply directly to the Northern Territory, the same reasoning for deciding to set up this type of arrangement applies. Purchasing through this arrangement is a cost-effective solution, and the necessary due diligence has been completed to ensure all suppliers have the capacity and capability to deliver under the contract.
